Before you stand behind the bar. A bit of mixology.
1. The choice of glass in which we will serve cocktails is significant. Properly chosen glass will stress the character of a drink, emphasize its flavour, aroma and appearance.
So, the proper shape, high quality, resistance and above all transparency of glass have an influence on the final effect of our adventure behind the bar.
2. The appropriate amount of ice is fundamental. Ice is made only of mineral water.
3. Follow the given recipes and the amounts of particular ingredients.
4. All ingredients that are used to prepare drinks should be chilled.
5. A recipe of a drink is not a secret- drinks are prepared so that everybody could see all ingredients and activities.
6. Decoration of a drink is important – it has to delight also with its appearance. However, you should not exaggerate.
7. Do not drink a cocktail at one gulp, sip it slowly through a straw and relish the flavour.
8. Cocktails with brown sugar are served with jumbo straws.
