Decanting involves pouring wine from a bottle into another container or carafe. The purpose of decanting is to obtain the old wine clarity through separating wine from sediment or aerating young wine, thus improving its flavour and releasing the aroma.
In both these cases pour wine gently to the VINOTECA KROSNO decanters about one hour before serving by pouring a thin stream of wine down the inside of the carafe.

Pour the wine into the decanter. Select a carafe and position it close to the neck of the bottle, as slow pouring and clearance can cause the wine to flow down the neck of the bottle – care must be taken. If any sediment stays in the wine, it is at the bottom of the bottle. Stop pouring if any sediment is observed in the neck of the bottle. Once the sediment has settled back to the bottom of the bottle, carefully continue pouring. Complete the decantation once most of the wine has been poured from the bottle.
